Chelita Como Me Duele is a heartfelt silent black-and-white film directed by one of my best friends, which I quickly jumped into when given the chance. The story follows two childhood friends reuniting after many years apart. I was brought on as a co-background artist alongside Grace Martin, and together, we ended up painting 82 backgrounds—just the two of us! Despite the late nights, laughs, and challenges, we pushed through to bring this film to life. In the end, it turned out beautifully, and I’m excited for you to see it at festivals!
